Birdproject 100 is a growing edition , which ends when it reaches a total of 100 birds.

It is a small project to raise awareness on diversity and it's meaning and importance.

For this all bird paintings are for sale for 250 Euro/ Piece, from which 50 Euro will be donated to a project that preserves biological diversity.

All works have the same dimensions, technique: 21 cm x 14,9 cm, oil on paper. 

Not all of the birds here are in danger to extinct, they are more to show the wide diversity of the species of birds in their appearance, habitats, strategies etc. over the world and thus realte to the magnificance nature creates and the precision every beeing on this earth is connected and dependant to each other, including us. The increasing extinction of species and loss of biodiversity is rated by scientist as a similiar danger that climate change itself. Experts are talking about the sixth mass extinction in history. Earlier extinction events in Earth's history, also known as faunal changes, wiped out between 60 and 95 per cent of all species. It takes millions of years for ecosystems to recover from such events.
